With a name inspired by the selfless and nurturing of Stella Kowalski in one of Tennessee Williams’ greatest works, the Circle is designed to recognize the significant contributions of our most generous individual donors.

Curator’s Fund

Each year, Festival cofounder and artistic director David Kaplan plans one very special production. Help David continue to bring the Festival these inventive, delightful, and important interpretations celebrating Tennessee Williams’ worldwide significance.

Adopt-A-Show

Each year, we welcome provocative artists, imaginative theater companies, and seasonal team members from across the country and around the world.

And every production we invite has that one investment challenge that’s unique to it — sometimes it’s costumes, sometimes it’s the set, sometimes it’s a traveling theater company, sometimes it’s securing the rights to perform.

By helping us defray these special costs, you help us continue to bring the brightest torch bearers of Tennessee Williams’ international legacy to Provincetown.

A Festival Reserve Fund

We are enormously grateful that we were able to present a 2020 Festival. It was possible because of supporters like you, the Provincetown community, and some of our most dedicated collaborators. Although the Festival was smaller, and productions had to be performed around the country as well as in Provincetown, we were able to continue our mission while other theaters were forced to cancel their entire seasons.

This experience taught us a very important lesson: We need a Reserve Fund to guard against future unexpected difficulties. So we are working over the next few years to build a standing reserve equal to one year’s budget. Your contribution to this important fund helps ensure we will weather any future storm.
